Choosing a period
Press a pill: Today, Last 7 days, This month, Last month, This year or Last year. For your own dates, fill in From and To and press Show.
The tabs
- Overview: Takings (compared with the same number of days before), Orders and items sold, Average order, Discounts given, Refunds and Visits, then a takings chart, best sellers, how customers paid, sales by category and brand, new and returning customers, delivery, and requests.
- Month by month: each month beside the same month last year, with the change up or down.
- Year on year: every year side by side, and this year so far against the same point last year.
- VAT: your VAT quarters (see VAT returns).
- Visitors: where visits come from, such as Google, social media or email, counted without cookies.
Takings always means paid orders, by the day the payment was taken, after refunds, including VAT and delivery.
Downloads
- Excel and PDF (top right) download exactly what you are looking at.
- Orders CSV (one row per order) and Order lines CSV (one row per item) give a spreadsheet of every order for your dates.
The monthly report email
Switch on Send the monthly report and on the 1st of each month last month's report is emailed to you as a PDF, with the figures as an Excel file. Send last month's report now sends one straight away.
A fair comparisonIn Month by month, a month that is not over yet is compared with the same days last year, so you are never comparing half a month with a whole one.
