How it works
- Go to Settings > Export & import.
- Choose All products or one category, and press Download Excel file.
- Open it in Excel and change the yellow cells. The grey ones are just for reference.
- Save it, then under Upload your changes choose the file and press Check the file.
- You see every change, old and new, before anything is saved. If it all looks right, press Apply.
What it can change
- Products: price, was price (for a sale), stock, Live, card highlight, brand, bulk prices and filters.
- Products with options have a row for each option's price and stock.
- Categories: name, page heading, intro and notice.
Adding or deleting products and categories, pictures, descriptions, which categories a product is in, and the order of things are all done in the admin instead.
Safe by designA backup is taken before your changes are applied, and each change is recorded in that product's history, so you can always see what changed and when.
Use a fresh downloadAlways download a new file before you start. If you upload an old one, you could put back prices or stock that have changed since.
